作者簡(jiǎn)介: 楊孝明教授,1977年畢業(yè)于西安外國語(yǔ)大學(xué),獲學(xué)士學(xué)位,留校認教。1984年赴英國學(xué)習,并于1985年和1991年先后獲得英語(yǔ)諾丁漢大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)碩士和美國俄亥俄州鮑陵格林州立大學(xué)英語(yǔ)博士學(xué)位,現為美國新澤西海洋學(xué)院終身教授,美國"現代語(yǔ)言協(xié)會(huì )"和"全美英語(yǔ)教師聯(lián)合會(huì )"永久會(huì )員。楊孝明教授在學(xué)術(shù)研究方面也很有成績(jì),迄今已出版中、英文學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著(zhù)4部,譯著(zhù)1部,其英文專(zhuān)著(zhù)The Rhetoric of Propaganda 和Error of Creativity在英國牛津大學(xué)、劍橋大學(xué)、哈佛大學(xué)、耶魯大學(xué)等大學(xué)圖書(shū)館均有收藏。
