When the girl’s mother hands out party invitations, the children are not keen to go, but their parents think the party is a lovely idea. The new girl’s house does not have any horrible hazards, and the party is great fun. When it comes to blowing out the candles, the new girl makes a wish… that she could play with the children.
作者簡(jiǎn)介:Elizabeth Hawkins is a prize winning children's author. She enjoys writing for both the very young and older children. Formerly a journalist, she began to explore children's literature and write books for children following the birth of her three sons. She also teaches workshops in London on writing for children. Brought up in the West Midlands, she now divides her life between London and Dorset.
