作者簡(jiǎn)介:J.C. Trewin was a stage historian and drama critic. Author of 50 books and editor of 50 more, he was Literary Editor for the Observer newspaper. He lectured on Shakespeare in Britain, Europe, and North America, and was President of the Shakespeare Club of Stratford-upon-Avon. Professor Stanley Wells is Chairman of the Shakespeare Birthplace trust and globally recognised as a leading authority in the field. He has lectured worldwide on Shakespeare, he is also vice-chairman of the Governors of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and a member of the board of directors of the Globe Theatre. He has written many books and is a frequent reviewer of Shakespearean productions for the Times.
